Want uiteindelijk is liefde misschien wel simpel: samen eten, samen lachen… en ja, ook samen de afwas doen.
This painting is a tribute to the small moments that make love meaningful. Inspired by the song “Mia” by Luc De Vos, and especially the line “when I was hungry, I came to you, you said you can eat if you do the dishes,” it tells a story that is both familiar and playful.
In the end, love might be quite simple: sharing meals, sharing laughter… and yes, doing the dishes together.
