Artist – Tineke Cokelaere

A contemporary painter, I often work with texture pastes and acrylic paint. I work with different types of pallet knives.

My vibrant paintings are inspired by nature, dreams and my living environment. My works are abstract and I often use textures, earth tones or bright colors. I am self-taught. My style, subjects, techniques and the overall aesthetic of my work are always evolving. I’m always learning and experimenting with new ways to create art, and I plan to never stop exploring my work.

I believe there is too much to learn within the art world to be tied down to a very specific niche (at least for now!). Over the last 6 years my impasto technique has become solid and unique to me and my work, but my subjects are constantly changing.
